Christi
joined the teaching staff of Edmonds
Montessori in August of 2000. Originally
perusing a degree in Early Childhood
Education, she found her love for Montessori
through her son at a Montessori school in
Eastern Washington. Christi completed her
Montessori Certification in the psychology
and philosophy of the Montessori method and
on the application of the Montessori
didactic material for the ages of 2 ½ -6
years.
Christi has more than 19 years
experience in the Montessori classroom as
well as her years in Early Childhood
Education and Development. Her passion for
Montessori is as strong now as ever as she
continues the academic processes, exposing
the children to understand the world around
them. In January 2006, Christi added Program
Director to her responsibilities at Edmonds
Montessori as well as continuing to teach in
